Your words are only truth so much as the fact that you said something. That you said something, is truth. What you said is not. The fact that you walk is truth. Where you went and what you did is not.
Our communication is a story. It is not truth. It is not reality. The only thing that makes it true or real is that you have the energy to say something, and you have experienced some reality. What you say does not mean much. What you experienced does not mean much. What means everything is that you expressed. What means so much is the quality with which you expressed it.
We don’t care for words, we care for truth, and truth cannot be said so fully with them. Our expressions are just that, expressions. They give life to what was real, not what is.
We should forgive ourselves more for our words. We should forgive ourselves more for what we did. We do nothing in truth. We did not mean what we said. We know not what we do.
Truth lies only with you. You always have it, yet you can never fully express it. Yet the point of life is not truth, it is expression. It is the power to make life what we want it to be. It is the power to tell stories and believe them. It is the power to create our fantasy, and live it.
Stories are the most real thing we have. What we tell ourselves and believe gives us everything we have. Yet let us not forget that we all tell stories, that we all have learned and believe different ones, that we can learn new stories, that we can forget the ones we now know, that truth lies not in what we do or say, but in the simple act of expression.
